Full-Apron

Every blog I've stumbled across lately has tutorials for all kinds of adorable "mommy & me" aprons!! I'm having a boy -- so that doesn't really seem to be something I need to have, haha... and I don't cook BUT I just had to try and make one anyways! Since I'm becoming SEW domesticated (haha) I thought it was a necessity! A fashion must have - just like my Hospital Maternity Gown! :)

The other night I experimented with the dish towel half apron ... and so I thought this time I would try a full one! I found this amazing vintage inspired fabric at JoAnn's in the clearance bin and fell in love with it! I thought it would make the perfect apron -- so June Clever. :)

I saw an apron at TJMaxx that I loved the style of but it was $18 ... so I spent a few minutes checking it out and came home to re-create it. It cost me less than $5.00 (the fabric was on sale and then all I needed was a pack of Bias Tape) and about an hour of my time!

Here it is - I love the little pockets!! I think I'm going to make some matching potholders and oven mitts for a complete set! :) It's very crucial I look GOOD while not cooking :) haha.
