I found this snazy little gem at the Thrift Store for $1.99 ...
Good bones - but very ... LOVED & Well Used -
to put it nicely :)
to put it nicely :)
I loved the size! It was so low to the ground
and perfect for little creative minds & tiny hands!
It also folds down and stores away! Brilliant!
I knew with a little TLC it would be the perfect art easel for monkey man.
In a few years! :)
A few coats of red spray paint for the base,
a few coats of chalkboard paint on the top
and it was already looking better! :)
I added a clip to hold drawing paper
and a basket on the back for all his goodies!
He's still just a tiny bit too small ....
so I'll tuck it away in the Playroom Corner until he's ready!
But I love it!!
and I think Monkey Man will too! :)
Not bad for less than $5.00!!
(I just had to buy the clip & the basket
since I used paint I had on hand!)
Go on - don't be afraid to give old toys a new life!

I like to party - You're invited! :)
