Dinner Doodlers (with Tutorial)

These Dinner Doodlers are the perfect accessory for Preppy Mom's!

They are a chalkboard on one side

and an easy-wipe placemat on the other!

.
They roll up and fit in your purse, so you can easily take them anywhere!!
They will keep your child entertained at restaurants, doctors appointments, etc

You can buy them here in my shop ...
or make your own!

Here's what you need:
- Chalk Cloth - 10 x 14
- Oil Cloth - 10 x 14

*1/3 yard is plenty to make at least 3 of these*
- 1 package of Double Fold Bias Tape
- Spray Adhesive
- Grossgrain Ribbon
- Thin Elastic
- Sewing Machine & Thread

Hint: Sew the double fold bias tape on the long sides first.
Then do the sides - Chalk Cloth side first, Oil Cloth Side second.

I did this tutorial really quickly ... so if you have any questions, comments, suggestions -
please leave a comment and I'll get back to you!

Do you want one but don't want to make it?
I'm selling them here!

I'm still partying ... check them out!

  4. Hey Tasha - I found my chalkcloth at JoAnn's. It's in the Utility Fabric section and suprisingly inexpensive @ $4.99/yard - cheaper if you have a coupon! :)
