Burlap Lace Table Runner

Our Dining room is one of my LEAST favorite rooms in the house.
It's kind of cluttered.
The chairs desperately need to be re-covered.
The chandelier is UGLY.
The walls are bare.
and lately, the table looks like this ....

and I really needed to change that! :)
But I needed something cute to motivate me!

So I took some of my favorite materials ...
Burlap, Muslin, Lace & Hot Glue.

I cut my burlap in a long strip - mine is about 18" wide!
(no picture, sorry)

Then I cut a 4 inch strip of Muslin and made a ruffle (using basting stitch!)
 Hot glued on the Lace.
 Then added some pipping!

and now the Table looks pretty again! YAY!

and I put those adorable little pumpkins from the Farmer's Market to good use! :)

oh, hello cuties.
I feel like I need to have a dinner party now! ;)

I just LOVE quick & cute projects like this!

I like to party! :)
