Friday night was our first Navy Ball!
It's the Navy's 235th birthday and boy did we celebrate!!
It was great fun!
The Ceremony honored two living Medal of Honor recipients!
Their stories were truly incredible ... real heroes!
It was held at the Naval Aviation Museum here in Pensacola, FL!
If you are ever on the gulf coast - I highly recommend this museum! It's wonderful!
It's on the Navy Base but open to the public!
I forgot to take pictures of the tables but they were soo beautiful.
Tall skinny glass vases with floating vines, floating lights, jewels hanging from the branches! The best part?Star metal COOKIE CUTTERS spread around the table as decoration. I just love this idea! I'm picturing adorable heart cookie cutters for a wedding!
The "daycare" on base offered FREE babysitting from 5-12 for all people attending!! It was a much needed date night!
We enjoyed great food (Filet & Salmon), drinks, good music (Navy Band New Orleans!) and great friends!
We can't wait until next year's ball!!
