Halloween Hanging Dish Towel

We have one of those old, ugly, I've seen better days ovens (the life of a military renter!) that doesn't have a place to drape a dish towel and it drives me crazy. Our refrigerator/freezer does have a "towel" rack - but it's slippery and the towel is always, always on the ground. Gross!

So my solution?

A Hanging Dish Towel. One that won't fall on the ground after every use!

I've seen these at several craft fairs and decided to make my own!
and since I'm in the Holiday spirit -- a Halloween one seemed perfect!

I love the sweet little candy corn touch! :)

The best part? I got the potholder & dish towel at the Dollar Store - so this project cost me $2.00!

Want to make one? Tutorial coming soon, I promise!
I got way too excited and made this one without taking pictures!

  4. I love that! I have some cute towels hanging in the same place and my boys rip them off about 50 million times a day. I would love to know how to make a hanger that makes it a little less easy to rip the towels down.
