He had a broad face and a little round belly,
that shook when he laughed, like a bowl full of jelly.

SANTA - I KNOW HIM!
(any Elf fans? l.o.v.e.)
Santa makes me smile!
Candy makes me smile!
and this project DEFINITELY makes me smile!
Santa's Belly Candy Bowl!
I think my "fur" needs a little hair cut ...
but isn't it adorable??
I can't wait to fill it with Candy Canes!
I'm also currently making a galvanized tub one to use for drinks!!
Want to make your own?
What you need:
- Clay Pot (Galvanized Tub, even a Sand Bucket)
- Red & Black Paint
- Gold sequins for the belt (or glitter, etc)
- White Fur/Trim (or white garland)
- Hot Glue
Paint your Pot Red - I used the cheap WalMart spray paint!
Paint your "black" belt.
You could also use black ribbon! :)
Then use hot glue to add some white faux fur along the top!
Now you need the belt buckle.
I used gold sequins, but you could use glitter or gold floral wire too! :)
That's it!
Fill it with candy canes.
Or maybe ornaments.
or even use it as a "gift bag"!
The possibilites are endless!
I'm linking up to these parties! :)

That is super cute and so easy to make. Very creative!
