Goodbye warm Florida weather ...

hello cold Washington DC!

{I didn't even think about the fact the rest of the nation
is still experiencing "winter" while we're beaching it}

Monkey Man and I are headed up to our Nation's capital ...

{I LOVE Washington, DC}

I love the history.

I love the atmosphere.

I love the metro.

I love it because it's where I met the Hubs.

I love the restaurants.

oh - and I love it because my family is there!!

(that should have probably been first, haha)

I am SOOOO excited!

Unfortunately, the hubs can't take leave

{stupid flight school}

so we're going without him. 

5 hours of flights & layovers,

by myself.

with a 1 year old [with an ear infection.]

ugh.

are you jealous?

I'm not taking my laptop - no room in the carry on. 

Baby toys & books have taken over!

But don't worry - I've prepared lots of great posts while I'm gone! :)

I actually just spent the past 2 hours freaking out and writing tutorials, 

because I didn't want to neglect my blog baby. :)
