Oh Happy Day!

We have internet!
Oh I just love the way that rolls off my tongue!
Innnntteerrrnnneeettt!!!
It's the little things, my friends.
like being thankful for wireless ....
because being a nomad without internet for 1.5 months is awful!

Thanks so much for sticking by me!!!!
Y'all are the greatest ....
and I'm back now.
at least for a little bit! :)
... until baby #2 makes his debut -
and life as I know it changes.
forever.

because I've forgotten what it's like to be newborn-mom exhausted.
and combine that with 18 month old mom exhausted.
it's not looking good for me and the little 'ol blog!
Kidding. Kidding!
I'll figure it all out.
I'm just nervous about this whole one to two thing.
Any advice?

But now it's time to blog stalk ....
and catch up on Facebook ...
and abc.com
and everything I've been missing for SO long!!

But I'll leave with you a recent picture of Monkey Man ....

because, seriously?
Is he not just the cutest thing?! :)

  1. My sons are 18 months apart as well....they are now almost 4 and 5 1/2. I will be honest and say that the first two years were rough....not enough mommy to go around. We found a groove....dealt with the problems....and I am happy to say that they are the best of friends. They play well together, and truly make us glad that we had them so close together. People ask how we did it.....one day at a time (sometimes 1 minute at a time), but it'll be great! They are blessings from God!

  3. I am currently 35 weeks pregnant with baby boy #3 (my second just turned 18 months and I also have a 4 year old). I am right there with you when it comes to being nervous about having 2 kids only 18 months apart. I don't know how your little man is but mine is still very happy to be my baby and I worry that he will struggle a LOT when baby comes. For me going from 1 kid to 2 wasn't too difficult. My second was the world's most perfect baby (slept almost all the time, nursed like a champ, etc) and as parents my hubby and I could tackle the challenge of multiple kids together and each focus on 1 kid. Now that we're moving to 3 kids I am terrified! My oldest is very independent and is very self sufficient but my hubby still hasn't quite got down the art of handling both boys by himself, let alone with baby #3! I'm sure we'll be ok but I'm planning on some long days (and nights) and some rough patches. I am excited to have 3 boys that are so close in age. I think they will end up being best buds! Good luck and congrats! Giving birth a second time is so nice because you already know what to expect (being pregnant with little ones is a completely different story!)

  4. I have a 7, 3, and 1 y.o. I am currently 12 weeks pregnant and I homeschool. Nuts huh? There are not enough hours in the day but yet each day we all survive :) You will do great when you find the rhythm that works best for your family! You may have requested this already but I see bloggers invite guest bloggers for vacation or maternity leave, so maybe that can be an option? Good luck and don't be gone too long ;)
