Winner: Allergeez Giveaway

Remember this awesome allergy bracelet that I was giving away?
Well, we have a winner!
The winner was comment #3 -- Heather!
I would give this bracelet to my 17 month old girl. She is allergic to basically everything and has no way to tell people when she is away from me or her dad. This would be perfect for her.

Congratulations Heather!
I know you (and your little girl) will be very happy with your new ALLERGEEZ bracelet!

Thanks so much to everyone that helped spread the word!
Be sure to check out ALLERGEEZ's website here

Fine Print: The winner was chosen at random, using They have 48 hours to respond, or a new winner will be chosen.

Splish Splash Bash: Party Food

The Splish Splash Bash we had this week was SO much fun!
I'll be sharing details all week!

and like every party I throw -- the food is my favorite! :)
The color scheme was orange and teal.
The "menu" was breakfasty/brunchy, since the party was at 10!
There were muffins ....
with simple little toppers I designed in Word. So easy! :)
There were donuts (Inner Tubes).
 Yoghurt with granola & blueberries!
 Donut cake pops (Beach Balls).
 Tutorial coming soon!
"Fish food" for the kids -- goldfish, pretzels, raisins & marshmallows.
cheese sticks (Pool Noodles).
and of course, fresh Fruit!
Water and Lemonade was served in large mason jars with coordinating straws.
I just loved the way the display came together!
Oh and the Tablecloth was an adorable $2.50 Target find!

*As always, if you like this - I'd love for you to share it or pin it!*

How to throw a Sprinkler Party!

I have dreams of throwing a BIG backyard pool party one day.
Kind of like this one.
Unfortunately, we don't have a pool in our backyard ...
but we do have a sprinkler - and it is HOT here in Oklahoma!
So I threw Splish Splash Popsicle Bash!
Here's a little photo overload ... I'll go into details later in the week!

Do you want to throw the perfect Splish Splash Sprinkler Bash for your kiddos?
You'll need:

A fun color scheme with yummy food.

a lot of Popsicles!

and some fun "Water Stations"!

Then you let them loose to run, explore and splash!

and then you let them rest. :)
and snack in the shade!
The kids (all ages) had a BLAST!
It was such a fun and easy party!

10 months.

Holy moly little H --  where has the time gone?
10 months already!?

My sweet little Harrison --
I just love all your facial expressions ...
and how you start grunting and kicking your legs the minute you see food!
I love those thunder thighs ...
and I just adore that toothy little 6-tooth Gremlin grin!
I love how you just LOVE to sit ...
observing and soaking it all in.
THAT you get from your dad.
I love your independence ...
 and your curiosity...
and I love how much you LOVE your daddy ...
I love watching you play with your big brother ...
 I love that your a Momma's Boy.
I love how you always have that finger in your mouth ...
and I love how determined you are to be a "big boy"
but please slow down. You're growing up too fast.
But most of all --
I just love you.
I'm so blessed to be your mommy.
You have made our little family so perfectly complete.
Love, momma

Oh I love that kid.
I feel like it goes SO much faster with the second.
I guess it's because you're just SO much busier. ;)
Well, since time is flying - it looks like I have a birthday to plan!

You can see pictures from Wild Man's first birthday here. here. and here.

Not So Original: Map Coasters.

I opened my email this morning and saw this ...
Then I looked down at my cup and saw this ....

My MAP coasters that I made my husband for our anniversary in April, way before I received this email from Martha..
Two things went through my head ...
I guess I'm not as creative as I thought. Tear.
But then I snapped out of my pity party & thought well dang Gina!
I may not be original -- but I must have good taste.
I mean, this IS Martha Stewart we're talking about! :)

Mine aren't exactly the same - but they are SO simple and would make GREAT gifts!!
Plus, who doesn't love a good map project!? :)
Especially if you can find maps with meaning!

I started with 6 of these floor sample squares from the Big Orange.
This is what they look like from the front ..

and the back ...

p.s. They are FREE. :) Whoop Whoop!
p.p.s some have a nice felt cushion on the back. :)
I used my Miter Saw to cut off that little "edge" on the left!
Then I cut up some old flight maps that belonged to my husband when we were stationed in Pensacola, Florida ...
I adhered the maps with Matte Mod Podge!
Let that dry and then added a few top coats to seal them ...
 and that's it!
Adorable (and meaningful) coasters!

So what project is your inner Martha working on?
Don't you hate it when you think you're SO original and you're just NOT. :) haha.

If you like this, pin it please! :)

Summer Boredom Busters: $1 Squirt Bottle

A $1 squirt bottle from the Dollar Store is better than a wimpy water gun anyday!
It holds more water and it sprays better!
It's great for "Target practice" ...
and "washing the toys"...
and endless hours of Water squirting fun! :)
So hit up your dollar store and pick up one. or three! :)
You (and your kids) will be glad you did!
